New Store, New Yarns, New Ways To Get the News!

Hello and welcome to Keep Me In Stitches’ new blog! There are some exciting changes coming to our favorite yarn and beads boutique.

New Store Hours
We have changed our store hours. Starting immediately, we will be open:

Tues., Wed., Fri. and Sat. – 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Thurs. – 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Sun. – 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
We will be closed on Mondays.

New Location
We will be moving to a new store just down the road from our current location in the Nesconset Plaza on Smithtown Blvd – just across from the Gazebo. The new store will have plenty of room for the new yarns we are ordering and a classroom for a bunch of new classes that we are in the process of scheduling.

Moving Sale / Samples Sale
We have a ton of yarn, beads and other merchandise that we would rather sell than move so we are having a massive MOVING SALE! Starting August 2nd, most of our yarn will be on sale (between 20-50% off). Beads, excluding Swarovski crystals, will be on sale for between 10-20% off. Books will be on sale for 20% off. Needles and Notions will also be on sale. (ALL SALES ARE FINAL) Come bulk up your yarn and bead stashes and help us make room for all the new yarns that are on their way to our new store.

And if you have ever admired one of the knitted samples that we have displayed in the store, this is your opportunity to take it home with you. We will be selling many of the store sample sweaters, scarves, etc. for less than you can make it! Add to your own wardrobe or get a hand-knitted gift without actually having to do the hand knitting.

Tuesday Morning Knit In / In Store Help
Our staff will be very busy preparing for the move and helping to set up the new store so we will be unable to host the Tuesday Morning Knit In or provide in-store knitting help until after we are settled into our new home. We apologize for any inconvenience.

New Ways to Get the Latest News
We will be posting more information as it becomes available so check back here for the latest news. You can also visit us on Facebook, join our Ravelry Group or follow us on Twitter. We also have a Flickr group where you can share pictures of your latest projects.
